This is probably an odd request, considering what today's curse is.

Someone I know fell ill on Halloween and is apparently distraught about losing all their candy. Apparently me going out and purchasing several bags isn't enough. Since it's not actual 'Halloween' candy. If any kind souls are willing to do a reverse trick or treat and deliver a single piece of candy to Building Five, Apartment 16...it would make someone who can't leave the apartment very happy.

Yuuki has not remained very coherent for more than several minutes at a time and she will need her rest. My brother and I were born under a curse. In fact, the curse made a minor failure in the fact that there were two of us born. We were supposed to devour each other to claim the other's Vampire Hunting powers. Sometimes one lives, normally both twins perish in utero but for Ichiru and I...I stole his powers but kept him alive. This caused him to have a grave illness as a child that could not be cured by typical human medicines.

So it's really no wonder he grew to hate me.

To help a pureblood vampire kill our parents.

To turn me into a vampire.

Leaving me alone to go live with strangers, where the little human girl in the family was in love with another pureblooded vampire.

I never stood a chance but fell in love with her anyway. I did my best to protect her but she always ended up being the one to protect me when I was going insane and falling to Level E, she would offer herself to me. To protect her, I took his offer of blood. I did it for her.

And a day later he claims her for himself.

I've been here for a year with her by myself. And now he shows up and it's like that entire year never happened.

And I recently found out my brother isn't only from the future, but is dead.

I'm pretty certain that I was the one to kill him.

Even after everything, I don't want him to die...

...This must be another curse...I don't see why I would tell anyone any of this...

Our history says that the hunters gained our powers from a human devouring the flesh of a pureblooded vampire. Apparently the flesh of the most monstrous of vampires can give powers to those who eat it. These powers have been passed on from generation to generation as a strange dominant trait of everyone born within the family. Though there are exceptions to this, it's a skill we were born with. This also means that almost everyone within the Vampire Hunter Association is related at least very distantly.

Some more than others.

Though it isn't often that one leaves and chooses to resign their position within the organization, I guess I should be thankful that I was able to go live with my uncle when my family was murdered.

This place has done some really horrible things to people. I'm sure it's not a secret that I'm not exactly thrilled with this latest turn of events. Being here for a year without any annoying distractions has been a nice break for me. I should have known it wouldn't last. Such things never do.

Has anyone here ever blackmailed someone else into a relationship?

I don't get it. I know for a fact he's hiding it from her. He says it's for her own protection. But he's the only one that could possibly know. But blackmail? On someone who would have said yes either way?

[In the corner of a cell in the basement of the jail sits one silver haired vampire hunter. He doesn't look very beat up or even bothered by the predicament. To be completely truthful he didn't really put up a fuss when they came looking for him, other than finding himself a little creeped out by their appearance. It wasn't like he hadn't committed his crimes. He was a vampire hunter, part of hunting was killing. If they were going to imprison him for that, there really wasn't much he could do to deny it.]

I'm actually surprised this is the first time I've seen a curse like this one. Really. Jail for a day? With a prison nearby I think this one should have been fairly predictable.

It's cold down here. That thing could have at least let me grab a shirt.

I spent some time yesterday doing target practice with Bloody Rose. I'm glad that even being here for nearly a year, I haven't lost my shot at all. Every shot was precisely where it was supposed to go as usual. I am happy that if I ever am allowed to go home, that I won't have a problem with losing my touch in that regard.

I'm also glad that the only people from home are the only humans I ever have to interact with under the age of 25. I wouldn't want to see anyone else. Yori counts, even if she's no longer here.

I'm glad I get to occasionally see my brother even if he hates me and attempts to make my life miserable. At least he gets cursed occasionally, it amuses me.

Yuuki. She's been here for almost a year with me and in that entire time I haven't had to watch her act like any of the other fangirls back home. It's a welcome break.

So. Fangtasia? Is that what it's called? The novelty is amusing at the least.

I'm not sure exactly what this curse is...since it's apparently turned my skin to glitter. Quite annoying walking to the store today, I don't like standing out like that.

[A pair of teenagers stand in a quiet and empty part of Xanadu, a kitten held within the arms of the girl while the boy refolds a blue flag in an entirely different way than it had been until this point. As the girl snuggles the kitten, the boy attempts to tie the flag next to the ones already tied on his belt. This appears to be the fifth on his belt but if you look closely, the girl has several tied to her own waist as well.]

We'll drop the cat off at home for Yori to watch while we're gone.

[Suddenly a shot is heard and a splash of red can be seen on the boys upper chest. Lifting his own weapon, he fires twice and the camera goes out...]

The only adornment on the walls of the room are two or three pictures obviously drawn by a child.]

So I discovered this week that I am a masochist.Being pinned to the ground by a spell, straddled by a girl in the process...I've never been so turned on in my life.

I'm not stupid enough to think there is anything to this though. Obtaining feelings for the person you are protecting sounds like something straight out of some cheesy fairy tale. That's not me. I detest those kind of things.

I'm sure it would have happened with any other girl. Not just her.
